Wells Gazette 2015

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!

This year went by really fast!  Got the cards in the mail on the 4th day of Christmas!  Thank goodness there are 12 days to celebrate =)

Sorry the gazette has gone digital.  There just was not enough time with everything going on. 2015 was a busy year in our household.

The spring was busy with taking McKenna to story time and dance which was Yaya and Kenna time. Kenna's class had a little recital for the families in the class at the end of May. She really loved dance and gymnastics. Story time allowed us to get crafty.

In April Scott's mom's battle with Lukemia ended. All of her children were by her side when she died.  She fought hard but ultimately won! She is cancer free and fully resotred in heaven.  We had a great celebration.  You can see it on youtube here.

In June, McKenna turned 3 years old!, but two weeks prior to her birthday, she was the flower girl in Andrew and Anne's wedding.  We had a beautiful day with the wedding along the river just outside of Baltiimore.  It was so much fun.  Andrew and Anne had a photo booth, so we all got to get crazy with those pictures!  Check back and I'll try to add some links to the celebration.  Anne's side of the family came from Missouri and Andrew even had some family represent from Pittsburgh!  The ceremony finished just before the rain started.  The photographer was able to get a picture of Andrew and Anne under the rainbow that came out just after the rain finished!

July brought some vacations on various fronts.  Scott went fishing in Canada with our pastor and I brought the pastor's wife and kids along camping in Ocean City Maryland.  We had a blast.  McKenna came along and got to see the ocean for the first time.  We camped right next to the pool, so the kids had fun.  We even got to hang out with some of our other friends who happened to be there too. Scott didn't catch the big one - Muskie, but did catch some of the other fish that live way up there in Eagle Lake.  We ended July by celebrating Noah's 1st birthday.  He is such a happy boy.  He loves throwing and catching balls, any kind. He is so much fun.

In August after already driving the fifth wheel back in July, I headed to Sunset Beach NC.  After blowing a tire going 65, I was able to get everything repaired and hang out with my friend Heidi and her daughter Amanda for a week.  Didn't want to go home!  Very relaxing there.  Much slower pace. Had fun playing games and listening to the waves.  I even walked out to the mailbox located at the very end of the beach and wrote in the notebook there.  I think it was about 5 miles round trip.  I even crossed into South Carolina along the way.

Wow, the fall was a blur.  Mostly church activities I think! If I can remember more, I'll add it.

Which brings us to Christmas.  We hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus.  Blessing in the new year!
